How to Use Sunscreen Effectively

Sunscreen is one of the best tools we have to protect our skin from premature aging and skin cancer—but only if used correctly.

Always choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Apply it generously 15–30 minutes before going outside.

Don’t forget often-missed areas like ears, neck, feet, and the back of your hands. Reapply every 2 hours, or immediately after swimming or sweating.
